This 28days program seeks to create a way for people from different cultures to interact on a common goal which is the conservation of forests and learn and appreciate each other’s culture. it seeks to ensure the Conservation of Mt. Kenya forest a water catchment area for the region by working closely with the communities neighbouring the Forest. It also involves visiting Kenya’s premier destinations such as the beautiful Mount Kenya, Samburu National park, and hiking the beautiful Loita hills in Masaai Mara.

The program will take place in central Kenya at Naro- Moru a small town in Nyeri county about 200km from Kenya’s capital city Nairobi and it will be run from BATIAN’S VIEW EXPERIENTIAL EDUCATION CENTER, a private institution that teaches staff training, risk management and community service where their main mission is to provide exceptional character development opportunities and guidance for people and communities to explore their full leadership potential through safe hands-on learning.

A typical day in the program will in involve waking up early and taking a walk to the tree nursery during your walk you will be joined by school-going kids as they go to school. At the nursery, your work will involve the planting of new seedlings, and preparing nursery beds. Watering of trees in the nursery just to name a few activities. Later in the afternoon join the locals in a game of football or volleyball or visit a school and depending on the day visit the local market and buy some items for dinner. Most weekends will be spent exploring the nearby attraction site.
