Kenya’s capital City

Your safari will begin and end here. You will be picked up at Jomo Kenyatta Internatinal Airport and taken to your hotel. We’ll give you a brief orientation and if your flight arrived in the evening, let you get to bed and meet you in the morning. If you arrived on an early flight, we’ll get you lunch and do some siteseeing in Nairobi. We may visit the Nairobi National Museum which will give you a good introduction to Kenya. The last night of the safari is usually spent in Nairobi. So, your last day will be spent visiting some of the attractions below.

The Museum hosts both temporary and permanent galleries.
The permanent galleries include The Cradle of Human Kind;
The Story of Mammals; The History of Kenya; Cycles of Life;
Numismatic exhibition and Asian African Heritage exhibition
gallery. 
Sheldrick

Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, Nairobi Nursery

Since the late 1970s, the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust has raised
orphaned baby elephants and integrated them back into the
wild. The youngest calves, up to age three, are kept at the
trust’s elephant orphanage located at the edge of Nairobi
National Park. The orphanage is open to the public for one hour every day. 
GiraffeCentre 1

Giraffe Centre

Here you will learn about the endangered Rothschild Giraffe
and also have the opportunity get up close, touch and feed
them. 
Matbronze

Matbronze Foundry

Visit a bronze foundry and gallery that specializes in wildlife sculptures and silver jewelry. There is also a restaurant here.
Karen Brixen

Karen BLixen Museum

This is the former African home of Danish author Karen Blixen, famous for her 1937 book “Out of Africa” which chronicles life at the estate. It later gained international acclaim in 1985 with the movie (based loosely on the book) of the same name starring Meryl Streep and Robert Redford.
